“The nursing team and I would like to extend our gratitude to Stephanie for the amount of support she gave us and Dorothy Serwon’s family yesterday during her passing here at HX. Dorothy was on service with a hospice company that was not responsive or supportive towards us, Dororthy, or her family. Dorothy was not properly medicated and therefor, was in pain. Stephanie took the time and adjusted medications, stayed with the family, and did not leave the facility until she was comfortable. Dorothy ended up passing moments later after being medicated properly. Stephanie truly went above and beyond for us and the family, and I needed to share this experience with you. From the first call to gather information, through the careful intake process, and by their prompt responses to every inquiry, the staff inspired our confidence. The nurse practitioner visits with Emily in her apartment at least once a month; is attentive to her physical, mental, and cognitive health issues; and collaborates closely with the nursing staff at the facility. Her follow up emails with the family contact and availability for phone consultation provide reassurance, guidance, and comfort for all of us who love Emily. “First Choice and in particular tact Ramos did a wonderful job with my brother while he was at atria in Burlington, MA. She made regular visits, examined him and then got him the adjunct services he needed, most of which were covered by Medicare. More importantly, when he arrived from New York he was taking a lot of medication. Tracy assessed and adjusted it so that he was much more alert and interactive. She always responded quickly when I contacted her and explained things in a concise and easily understandable way. I Am grateful to first choice for taking such good care of my brother.”
